We’ve got an exciting day of postseason baseball on tap!

A pivotal Game 3 awaits for both NLDS matchups, as each of those series are currently tied at one victory a piece. As for the matchups in the American League, it’s an elimination game at Fenway, with the Red Sox trying to send the Rays packing for the winter. The Astros were going to try and put the White Sox away for good after failing to sweep Sunday night, but weather will put that series on hold for another day.

Milwaukee Brewers (1-1) at Atlanta Braves (1-1)
RHP Freddy Peralta (10-5, 2.81) vs. RHP Ian Anderson (9-5, 3.58)
Game 3 – 1:07 p.m. ET – Truist Park – Atlanta, GA – TBS

When teams play in Milwaukee, there’s usually a good bit of offense, but not in the first two games of the Brewers’ series with the Braves. A total of six runs have been scored between these teams so far, and if it wasn’t for a Rowdy Tellez homer in Game 1, maybe Atlanta would be looking for a sweep today. Each squad is looking for the upper hand with a young right-hander taking the mound.

Houston Astros (2-1) at Chicago White Sox (1-2)
Jose Urquidy (8-3, 3.62) vs. Carlos Rodon (13-5, 2.37)
Game 4 – POSTPONED

Well, we thought the baseball gods were granting us with another day of four postseason games, until Mother Nature had other plans. Inclement weather has postponed Monday’s afternoon matchup until Tuesday at 2:07 pm ET.

Tampa Bay Rays (1-2) at Boston Red Sox (2-1)
Collin McHugh (0-1, 16.20) vs. Eduardo Rodriguez (0-1, 10.80)
Game 4 – 7:07 p.m. ET – Fenway Park – Boston, MA – FS1

Back in February, did anyone expect the Rays to be facing elimination against the Red Sox? Probably not many, but here we are. The beauty of baseball. As Tampa attempts to extend its season beyond Monday, a good thought would be trying to find a way to retire Enrique Hernández, who has posted a .500 batting average and a 1.563 OPS in the postseason thus far.

San Francisco Giants (1-1) vs. Los Angeles Dodgers (1-1)
LHP Alex Wood (10-4, 3.83) vs. RHP Max Scherzer (7-5, 3.33)
Game 3 – 9:37 p.m. ET – Dodger Stadium – Los Angeles, CA – TBS

The Giants and Dodgers are meeting in the postseason for the first time ever, and so far, it’s lived up to the hype — San Francisco was in complete control in Game 1, and then Los Angeles took away that momentum in Game 2. We do already know that Albert Pujols is set to start at first base in Game 3. According to Sarah Langs of MLB.com, he’ll become the oldest Dodgers player to start a postseason game ever, and the oldest non-DH and non-pitcher to do so since old friend Julio Franco in 2005.
