The ALDS began yesterday, with the Astros and Yankees winning their games against the Athletics and Rays, respectively. Now, the four remaining NL teams will join them, as the Dodgers take on the Padres and the Braves take on the surprising Marlins.

Miami Marlins vs Atlanta Braves, 2:08 PM ET, Game 1 at Minute Maid Park – ATL FS1
RHP Sandy Alcantara vs LHP Max Fried

The 2020 Marlins are a classic underdog tale, as despite trading away a slew of talented players in the past several years and being expected to be the laughingstock of the league, they found their way into the playoffs and took down the Chicago Cubs. The Marlins have now won all seven playoff series that they’ve been a part of in their history, and they will look to extend that streak against the division champion Braves.

Houston Astros vs Oakland Athletics, 4:37 PM ET, Game 2 at Dodger Stadium – TBS
LHP Framber Valdez vs LHP Sean Manaea

Carlos Correa‘s two-homer game led the Astros to a victory in game one, and game two will kick off as Sean Manaea looks to help the A’s even the series. Manaea has made one postseason start in his career, giving up four runs in two innings.

New York Yankees vs Tampa Bay Rays, 8:10 PM ET, Game 2 at Petco Park – TBS
RHP Deivi Garcia vs RHP Tyler Glasnow

After the Yankees took game one fueled by a powerful ninth inning grand slam from Giancarlo Stanton, 27-year-old strikeout machine Tyler Glasnow will look to even the series against the 21-year-old rookie Devi Garcia. Garcia has made just six MLB starts to date, so it will be quite the task for the youngster.

San Diego Padres vs Los Angeles Dodgers, 9:38 PM ET, Game 1 at Globe Life Field – LAD FS1
RHP Mike Clevinger vs RHP Walker Buehler

The Padres have been trying to make a statement, as Fernando Tatis Jr. and company have powered this team to its first NLDS appearance since 2006. They’re coming off an exciting wild card series against the Cardinals, where they lost the first game but took the next two.

The pressure is going to be on the Dodgers here, as with arguably their most talented team in years they’ll look to avoid another year of postseason disappointment, but at the very least, the Padres certainly aren’t going to go down without a fight.
