After Monday night’s exciting comeback win against the Miami Marlins, the Mets officially recalled RHP Rafael Montero from Triple-A Las Vegas.
To make room for Montero on the active roster, the Mets optioned infielder Daniel Muno to Triple-A Las Vegas.
Muno was 1-for-6 with a stolen base in four games since he joined the team on April 17.
Montero (0-1, 4.15 ERA) will get the start tomorrow night and will oppose right-hander David Phelps (1-0, 3.55) for the Marlins.
