Miami Marlins reliever Chad Qualls squeaked out of trouble in the eighth inning of tonight’s game against the Mets. After allowing a leadoff triple to Marlon Byrd, he struck out Ike Davis, got John Buck to ground out, and then struck out Omar Quintanilla on three pitches to strand Byrd and end the inning with the game tied 2-2.

For Qualls it was a moment of jubilation and this is how it all went down…

I love the way he quickly gets right up as if nobody would notice what an ass he just made of himself. 😀
