The SNY broadcast reported on Thursday during the Mets game vs the Nationals, that Mets starter Carlos Carrasco strained his right hamstring and will get an MRI.

Carrasco suffered the injury during his conditioning that followed a live BP on Thursday.

Carrasco, 34 this month, suffered a bit of a setback during camp this month when his elbow started barking. This came after Carrasco’s arrival at camp was slightly delayed as he finished up receiving his COVID-19 vaccination.

However, the elbow soreness wasn’t a new phenomenon for the veteran pitcher, who has experienced the same thing in spring trainings of the past.
