As per Eduardo A. Encina of the Baltimore Sun, the Atlanta Braves have a deal in place to acquire reliever Brad Brach from the Baltimore Orioles, pending a physical.

Brach, 32, has a 4.85 ERA in 42 appearances with the O’s this season. Over his seven-plus year career, the 6’6″ Freehold, New Jersey native owns a 3.16 ERA, 1.272 WHIP, and 9.6 strikeouts per nine innings.

Brach’s got a career-slash line against of .226/.308/.357 and has held right-handed batters to a .210/.290/.356 line over his career (867 at-bats versus righties).

As per Joel Sherman of the New York Post, Baltimore will not get any prospects from the Braves. They will be compensated solely with international spending pool money ($250,000, as per Sherman).
