The Atlanta Braves have signed center fielder Ender Inciarte to a five-year contract extension, the team announced in a press conference Friday.

Inciarte, 26, will reportedly receive $30.5 million in guaranteed money over the life of the deal with an option for a sixth year.

Inciarte was acquired from the Arizona Diamondbacks before the 2016 with top prospect Dansby Swanson and pitcher Aaron Blair to Atlanta in exchange for Shelby Miller,

Inciarte went on to win a Gold Glove in 2016, while hitting at a .291/.351/.381 clip across 131 games.

The Braves have been in full rebuild mode the last year or two, and will now lock up one of their best young talents.
