After just two months at the post, the Braves have parted ways with assistant general manager and former Mets Director of Baseball Operations Adam Fisher, according to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic.

Perry Minasian will now move from director of player personnel to assistant general manager.

According to Bob Nightengale of USA Today, the Atlanta Braves have hired Adam Fisher as their new assistant general manager.

Fisher has served as the Mets Director of Baseball Operations since 2013. He joined the organization as Baseball Operations Assistant in 2004.

The Braves also hired Perry Minasian as Director of Player Personnel, the former Special Assistant to the General Manager for the Toronto Blue Jays.

The Braves (64-78) are currently in third place in the National League East division, 1.5 games in front of the fourth place Mets (63-80).
