The Mets could soon be bolstering a bullpen corps that looked very solid on Opening Day.

Right-handed relievers Brad Brach and Jared Hughes have joined the team in New York, manager Luis Rojas said on Saturday.

Neither pitcher had participated in Summer Camp and both were placed on the injured list for an undisclosed reason on Jul. 15.

Brach later confirmed that he had tested positive for COVID-19 during the intake process.

“At first I thought it was just a cold, I guess that’s the case you hear from everybody,” he said. “When I made the drive up to New York I felt great that day, went to take my initial test at the stadium, and as I went back to have lunch I couldn’t taste the sandwich I was eating.”

Brach said his wife tested positive as well — a scary moment for the family as she was days away from giving birth to twin boys.

No details on Hughes’ absence have been provided. The veteran, who signed with the team three days before the start of Camp, tweeted an image of the view from his lunch table at the Mets’ alternate training site in Brooklyn.

Brach said he threw a bullpen session on Saturday, his first day back with the team.

While he couldn’t put a timetable on his return to game action, he doesn’t expect any lingering effects from the virus.

Brach, 34, made 16 appearances for the Mets in 2019 after he was released by the Cubs at the beginning of August.

After seeing uncharacteristically poor results in Chicago, he posted a 3.68 ERA with 15 strikeouts to three walks in New York.

He re-signed on a one-year, $850,000 contract in December with an option for 2021

Hughes, 35, was released from his minor league contract with the Houston Astros just before the sports world shut down in March.

Despite a down year with the Phillies and Reds in 2019, he holds a 2.88 ERA across nine major league seasons.

He will make $259,259 in prorated pay over the 60-game season.
