The baseball season has shifted into high gear and the NL East race is shaping up to be quite a battle.

Mets Merized Online is getting ready to crank it up a few notches as things begin to heat up! 

We are now looking to staff several spots for bloggers with a passion for baseball and the Mets.
 
Currently, we need writers who can cover Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays.
We are also looking for a couple of beat writers who are familiar with Google reader to scour the web for top baseball news with a focus on the NL East.
We are also going into the realm of sabermetrics and need someone to lead the way and bring balance to the force. The ideal candidate will be a savvy baseball connoisseur with an acute knowledge of the latest in baseball sabernetrics.
 
All positions will have full creative liberty to express your points of view on baseball’s hottest topics, Mets news, rumors, etc.
 
Here are the qualifications.  
  • Strong writing skills with attention to grammar and spelling.
  • Passionate MLB and Mets fans with opinions that beg to be heard. 
  • Previous blogging experience is a plus, but not necessary.
  • Internet baseball junkies are most welcome!
