According to multiple sources, Johan Santana is nearing a minor league deal with the Baltimore Orioles. Santana, who missed the entire 2013 season due to a second surgery in three years to repair a torn anterior capsule in his left shoulder, was bought out of his contract by the Mets for the 2014 season.
