Brandon Nimmo spoke to the press after the game and told them that he is still dealing with the same neck issues that plagued him back in April, as detailed by Anthony Dicomo of MLB.com. As a result, the outfielder will be getting an MRI on Wednesday.

Nimmo, 26, was set to move back into the leadoff spot of the lineup before being scratched from the lineup with his lingering neck issues with two hours of game time.

The outfielder, as our own Michael Mayer notes, was hitting .241/.388/.463 before he first went down with the injury last month.

However, the entirety of his season has been quite disappointing as he has hit .200/.344/.323 with three home runs and 14 RBI to give himself a lowly 93 wRC+ and 0.3 WAR.
