Bowman Baseball is back!
Released on April 27th, the first Bowman release of the year includes several cards of Mets’ top prospects. With a quick search on eBay, I was able to locate several reasonably priced listings and snatched up the base set and prospects set.
Bowman Baseball is split three ways: a 100-card base set of veterans and rookies, 150 cards of prospects, and the same 150 prospects in chrome. All of the cards come with a variety of serial-numbered parallels.
Long known as a release where collectors can find cards of players that have recently changed teams, 2022 Bowman does not disappoint as it features the first Mets card of their biggest offseason free agent signing, Max Scherzer. For prospect hunters, you’ll find the first card of pitcher Robert Dominguez.
In the next few months, you can expect to see several other Bowman releases, including Bowman Chrome, Bowman Prospects Chrome, Bowman Platinum, Bowman Sterling, and Bowman Draft.
