The Mets announced in their game notes that top prospect Amed Rosario has been promoted to the Binghamton Mets from St. Lucie. Rosario hit .309/.359/.442 with 10 doubles, three homers, eight triples and 40 RBI in 66 games. He was the starting shortstop in the Florida State League All-Star game.

Rosario started the season as the third youngest player in the FSL and leaves as the leader in hits 82 (second most is 73). His eight triples are currently tied for the league lead and he has a career high .800 OPS.

They also announced the promotions of starter P.J. Conlon and second baseman Vinny Siena from the Columbia Fireflies to the St. Lucie Mets. Both played in the South Atlantic League All-Star game on Tuesday. They were drafted in back-to-back rounds (13th Conlon, 14th Siena) in the 2015 draft.

The lefty Conlon leaves the SAL as the leader in wins with eight, second in ERA at 1.84 and has the third best WHIP at 1.00 even.

Siena, 22, was second in the league in runs scored (53), tied for the lead in OBP (.435) and was hitting .291/.435/.399 in 223 at bats this year.
