It is with great sadness to inform you that Sean Kenny’s mother passed away this morning.
I spoke to Sean at 1:00 AM last night when he called to tell me that his mother was in some kind of medical distress and that they had rushed her to the hospital. This morning at 8:30 AM I was wondering how his mom was doing and I texted him to see if her condition had improved. He then he told me the sad news.
Please keep Sean and his family in your prayers. He has been an invaluable part of the MMO family for many years and he is a good friend.
Our live coverage from the Brooklyn Cyclones season opener has been cancelled. Right now we just want to give Sean our strongest show of support as he and his family deal with this sudden and tragic loss.
