Robert Gsellman made a rehab start for Mets Double-A affiliate the Binghamton Rumble Ponies Thursday night, and I was on hand with my camera. Here are some of my best pictures from the night, a 6-4 win over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.

Gsellman did not have the best appearance. After recording a groundout to start the game, he proceeded to then load the bases before walking in a run on four pitches. He was removed after pitching two thirds of an inning, throwing 26 pitches. He was only scheduled to throw one inning.

Casey Delgado relieved Gsellman and earned the win, his seventh of the season. He allowed two runs (one earned) on seven hits and one walk, striking out three during his 6.1 innings of work.

Champ Stuart played led off for the Rumble Ponies and was electric. After walking to start the game, he stole second, stole third, and scored on a Luis Guillorme groundout. He finished 0-for-3 on the night with a walk, RBI, run scored, and two strikeouts. He now has 32 stolen bases on the season.

Mets infield prospect Luis Guillorme was immensely impressive at shortstop, making multiple phenomenal plays. He went 0-for-4 at the dish with a walk, RBI, and run scored and is now hitting a healthy .285 on the season.

The big blow of the night was dealt by first baseman Matt Oberste who knocked a three-run home run to break a 3-3 tie in the 6th inning. He finished 2-for-4 with an opposite-field double as well as the dinger, the Rumble Ponies first home run at home since June 30th.

Kevin Taylor was the clean-up hitter and DH for the Rumble Ponies, finishing 1-for-4 on the night. He struck out twice but is hitting .306/.388/.395 on the season.

Batting fifth and playing right field for the Rumble Ponies was Kevin Kaczmarski. He was 0-1 with three walks, a stolen base and a run scored.

Batting sixth and playing third base for the Ponies was David Thompson who went 0-for-4 but made a few very nice plays at third base.

Catcher Tyler Moore batted seventh Thursday night and was impressive behind the plate, despite one passed ball. He finished 1-for-3 with an RBI.

Dale Burdick batted eighth and played second base. Above you can see him yielding to Kevin Kaczmarski on a shallow fly ball during his 0-for-2 night. He walked and scored a run.

Batting ninth was center fielder Patrick Biondi who finished 1-for-2 with two walks, a stolen base, and a run scored. He impressed me in center field with both his glove and his arm, almost throwing out a runner at home on a very deep sacrifice fly.

I hope you enjoyed my pictures! It was a fun night at a fun stadium. If you ever have the chance to get out to Binghamton, I highly recommend a visit to NYSEG Stadium to watch the Rumble Ponies.
