Wednesday was an up-and-down day for the Mets’ farm system as St. Lucie and Binghamton failed to record a run, while both Brooklyn and Syracuse picked up wins. Nick Morabito was a standout in the Syracuse win, collecting two hits.

Binghamton’s offense had no juice, only mustering four hits in the whole game and not scoring a run.

The pitching staff had a solid go, only allowing three runs, but with no support from the offense, they took the loss.

Low-A

St. Lucie Mets (26-33) 0, Palm Beach Cardinals (25-32) 17

Box Score

This was a day to forget offensively for the Mets as they only recorded one hit. On the bright side, though, Peña and Snyder both continue to look solid.

Charles was the only Mets pitcher not to give up a run. As a staff, they gave up 20 hits and walked seven.
