Good morning, Mets fans!

The Yankees received concerning news on Thursday night when Aaron Judge was diagnosed with a stress fracture of the first rib on his right side. The team announced that he will be reevaluated in approximately four to six weeks.

According to the Yankees, Judge is expected to return at some point this season, as reported by Jorge Castillo of ESPN. Castillo confirmed that Judge’s diagnosis was indeed a stress fracture of his first rib and reiterated that he will be re-imaged in four to six weeks. Earlier in the day, Yankees manager Aaron Boone revealed that Judge had undergone an MRI, X-ray and CT scan as the club searched for a diagnosis, according to Bryan Hoch of MLB.com.

Judge has a .907 OPS this season, which is great by most players’ standards but down from the last few years for him.
