Baseball America has named A.J. Ewing as one of their largest risers in their most recent Top 100 Prospects list, moving from #68 to #37. Before the season Ewing was ranked #83. They describe Ewing as a complete player who can hit, run and field on a consistent basis. With Ewing now in Triple-A, BA wrote that “Ewing’s quick rise plus the early doldrums in Queens could afford him a chance at his MLB debut sometime this summer.”
After slashing .349/.481/.571/1.053 in Double-A, Ewing is slashing .440/.500/.560/1.060 across his first seven games at Triple-A.
