A.J. Ewing homered for the second straight night Friday in Double-A Binghamton’s 10-2 victory over Erie. (Watch it here.) The 21-year-old has hit safely in 13 of 16 games and is slashing a team-leading .345/.466/.552. He is the Mets’ No. 3 prospect on MLB Pipeline.

Elian Peña, the Mets’ No. 8 prospect, kept hitting as well. The shortstop smacked his sixth double (see it here) and stole third base twice in Low-A St. Lucie’s 12-4 loss to Palm Beach. Peña is slashing .329/.448/.905, has hit safely in 15 of 18 games, and stolen eight bases in nine tries.
