Tyler Rogers, whom the Mets acquired on Wednesday from the San Francisco Giants, will be active for their series opener at Citi Field on Friday against his former club. The Mets also moved outfielder Jesse Winker to the 60-day injured list and demoted Chris Devenski to Triple-A Syracuse.

Winker has been on the injured list with an oblique strain and, most recently, a back injury. He was previously expected to return this season, but has now been downgraded to the 60-day injured list, putting his ability to return this season in question. Winker has only played in 26 games this season. He is hitting .229/.309/.400 in 81 plate appearances.

The Mets also sent Chris Devenski back down to Triple-A. He elected free agency earlier this week and was then signed again by the Mets recently.

In 11 games (one start) this season, he has no decisions, a 2.84 ERA, and nine strikeouts through 12 2/3 innings.
