Good morning, Mets fans!

Last night, it was another tough go of it for the New York Mets’ offense against the elite pitching of the Seattle Mariners. After a tough first inning by Sean Manaea, the offense was unable to make any ground and New York dropped their second-straight game 4-0. The Mets have gotten shutout in back-to-back games and haven’t scored a run in 19 innings.

New York will look to salvage a game in the series on Sunday night baseball as Luis Severino and Luis Castillo are slated to face off.

With the loss, and the Atlanta Braves victory over Colorado, the Mets find themselves back a half-game back from the third wild card spot.
