As summer begins and the Mets lead in the National League East continues to grow, 2022 Topps Series Two hits the shelves and serves as the conclusion to the Topps Series One set.
Much like Series One, the Series Two release is a 330-card set with cards numbered from 331 to 660 to complete the Topps set for 2022. Series Two includes 14 different parallel sets, including 10 parallel serial numbered sets and 2 that are marked “One of One”.
Collectors will also find numerous insert sets, autographs and memorabilia cards, relics, silver packs featuring Chrome cards not found in any other sets, and the continued return of the 1987 Topps design.
The Mets base team set has 10 cards, including a team card and players not included in Series One. Strangely, the Mets base team set includes a card of Jonathan Villar and not Max Scherzer, Starling Marte, or Eduardo Escobar. A baffling selection, but it appears we will have to wait for the Topps Update Series that will be released after the World Series to find more cards of the Mets newest additions. You can also find a wide array of autographed Mets cards from current players Pete Alonso and Tylor Megill to legends like Darryl Strawberry and Mike Piazza.
Below you will find a full checklist of all of the Mets cards included in Topps Series Two and an updated baseball card release schedule.
