Syracuse went 5-for-14 with RISP and had a rare offensive outburst despite the loss. Mason Williams continues his hot start to the season as Cameron Maybin continues to struggles in Flushing. David Thompson and Cody Bohanek each had two hits for Syracuse.

Relief pitcher Trey Cobb recorded his first career hit today, whose last hit before this was before college ball.

Nogosek has continued his good pitching as he threw two perfect innings today in the 9-8 loss.

Binghamton Rumble Ponies 3 (3-17), Akron RubberDucks 2 (14-6) Box Score

Binghamton came out on top in Game 1 of their doubleheader on Thursday. Mark Vientos showed great barrel control as he homered on a high pitch over the right field wall. It was a good sign to see as he continues to show his raw strength with his third homer of the season.

The Rumble Ponies won the game on a walk-off single by Wagner Lagrange in the bottom of the eighth.

The Rumble Ponies pitched very well today as they won in eight innings.  The 26-year-old Walker was making his Double-A debut.

Mark Vientos continued to hit well as he put together two more hits, he is 5-for-11 in his last three games. Vientos gave the Rumble Ponies the sweep with a walk-off RBI single.

Mangum doubled twice as he continues to show off improved power in 2021.

Rumble Ponies had a very solid day from their bullpen on the day as they combined to allow two runs over 5 1/3 innings.

Aberdeen IronBirds 6 (13-7), Brooklyn Cyclones 2 (7-12) Box Score

The Cyclones lost the first game of their doubleheader on Thursday. Brett Baty continues his hot start as he just missed his first homer off the top of the left field wall against the Orioles top pitching prospect.

Edwards continued his good season as the Mets 2019 31st round pick from New Mexico State threw another scoreless inning today on Thursday.

Aberdeen IronBirds 10 (14-7), Brooklyn Cyclones 1 (7-13) Box Score

The Cyclones lost another one as they got swept in the doubleheader. The Cyclones had just four hits and went o-for-4 with RISP and had seven men LOB.

Brooklyn’s bullpen pitched well tonight as they allowed two runs in five innings of work. Allan Winans pitched well again as he lowered his ERA to 1.42.

Tanner Murphy hit his second home run of the season today in the loss as well.
