Good morning, Mets fans!
The Mets are set to start a two-game series against the Red Sox on Tuesday night at Citi Field. Left-handed pitcher David Peterson (1-2, 6.75 ERA) will get the start on the bump for New York as he’ll face off against Boston righty Garrett Richards (0-2, 6.48 ERA).
First pitch is set for 7:10 p.m. and the game can be seen on ESPN and SNY, and will be broadcasted on WCBS 880.

Yankees pitcher Deivi Garcia made his first start of the 2021 season on Monday evening after the team called the 21-year-old righty up the afternoon of. Garcia finished his night with four strikeouts, allowed three hits and two runs through four innings in a 4-2 loss to the Orioles at Camden Yards.
Garcia made six starts with the Yankees last season, and posted a 4.98 ERA and 1.19 WHIP over 34 innings of work. The young right-hander was MLB’s No. 91 prospect in it’s 2021 rankings.
