Regan first started his tenure with the organization when he was named the St. Lucie Mets’ pitching coach for the 2009 season. He served in that role until after the 2015 season when he took over as the Mets’ assistant minor league pitching coordinator.
Regan filled that role until he took over for Dan Warthen as the Mets’ interim pitching coach mid-way through the 2019 season. This offseason he went to the Dominican Winter League where he served as the Toros Del Este pitching coach.
