Jacob deGrom, we need you more than ever. DeAce takes the mound tonight, looking to salvage the third game of the series after the Mets were shut out and swept in a doubleheader yesterday by the Marlins, by scores of 4-0 and 3-0 respectively.
DeGrom (2-0, 1.93 ERA) will be faced off by Elieser Hernandez (1-0, 2.29 ERA). The game will be at 7:10 p.m. and can viewed on SNY and WCBS 880.

The Mets lost the first game of their doubleheader yesterday by a score of 4-0. Rick Porcello struggled during a rain-shortened outing and the Mets offense was once again lifeless.
The Mets placed Tomas Nido and Andres Gimenez on the IL. To replace them on the 29-man roster, the club called up Juan Lagares and Patrick Mazeika.
Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic heard the Mets could be active at the trade deadline.
