Jeff McNeil was a late scratch from the Mets lineup on Monday night in Atlanta. The Mets say that McNeil is experience lower back tightness.

J.D. Davis – wasn’t in the original lineup because he came to the park sick to his stomach – replaced McNeil in the lineup, in the designated hitter spot with Dominic Smith moving from DH to left field.

Mets shortstop Amed Rosario left the game in the bottom of the third due to an apparent injury. Rosario looked like he may have tweaked something trying to get out of the batter’s box in the top of the third inning.

The Mets are saying Rosario left with left quad tightness.

With the Mets starting to get short on infielders, Robinson Cano left the game in the fifth inning with groin tightness.

Luis Guillorme entered the game playing third, and youngster Andres Gimenez shifted from third to short.
