The New York Mets released a statement regarding MLB’s decision to postpone the start of the 2020 season due to the coronavirus, stating that they are focusing on their ticket policy for those who have purchase tickets to the impacted games and will update fans as soon as they can.
According to David Lennon of Newsday, the Mets front office employee, Donovan Mitchell Sr. was also tested for the virus and tested negative.
TMZ spoke with one of the most famous Mets fans ever Jerry Seinfeld and asked if he would consider buying the Mets, to which he replied, “people think that owning a team is more fun, its actually less fun.”
SNY plans to halt all original studio programming for up to two weeks according to the New York Daily News. These programs include, “The Thread”, “LoudMouths”, and “Baseball Night in N.Y.”
