Saturday, the Mets dropped a tough loss against the Marlins 2-0. The team as a whole collected one hit, the one being from Jeff McNeil. Steven Matz did not last long in his first start off the injured list, going 3.2 innings, giving up two runs on five hits, two walks, and collecting six strike outs.

Today, the Mets try to avoid a sweep in their three-game series against the Marlins. Noah Syndergaard will be on the mound facing Sandy Alcantara. The game can be seen at 1 p.m. on WPIX.
