Mike Ozanian and Kurt Badenhausen of Forbes released their list of all 30 MLB teams’ values and the New York Mets ranked sixth on the list.
Their valuation came in at $2.3 billion which ranked only behind the San Francisco Giants ($3 billion), Chicago Cubs ($3.1 billion), Boston Red Sox ($3.3 billion), Los Angeles Dodgers ($3.3 billion), and the New York Yankees ($4.6 billion).
As can be seen above, that means the Mets are the fourth most valuable franchise in the National League. Furthermore, the $2.3 billion valuation is higher than their 2018 one that had the Mets at $2.1 billion, but their ranking remained the same.
The Mets value is also the highest of all NL East teams as the Philadelphia Phillies (9th), Washington Nationals (11th), Atlanta Braves (12th), and Miami Marlins (30th) all rank behind them in that order.
