The Mets will now play one game tonight that starts at 9:45 p.m. instead of two due to the rain at Citi Field. Instead, they will likely have a doubleheader tomorrow that will start at 3:10 p.m. according to Ken Davidoff of the New York PostZack Wheeler will take the mound for the Mets.

Initially, the Mets and the Miami Marlins were supposed to play a doubleheader set to start at 4:10 p.m., but due to the weather that obviously didn’t happen.

That doubleheader was scheduled in the first place due to inclement weather during Monday night as well. Jason Vargas was slated to start tonight’s second contest, but will now start tomorrow instead.
