Yesterday marked Noah Syndergaard‘s returned for his second start and although the Yankees made plenty of contact against him throughout his five innings, he only permitted one run. Syndergaard became the youngest Met pitcher to strike out 500 career batters.
Last night’s game was also Yoenis Cespedes‘s first contest after being activated from the DL. The Cuban slugger went 2-for-4 with a homer.

Since he’s a free agent after the year, Familia has been speculated as a trade candidate.
