Last night, the Mets pulled out a win. Chris Flexen threw six solid innings and showed a lot of poise. Paul Sewald came into a tough spot to strike out Paul Goldschmidt and got J.D. Martinez to ground out. The offense was led by the young guys: Brandon Nimmo, Michael Conforto, Amed Rosario, and Dominic Smith. Nimmo got on base four times, Conforto had two RBI singles, Rosario had the go-ahead single, and Smith homered.
