New York Mets rehabbing starters Steven Matz and Seth Lugo will both continue on their road to the big leagues on Sunday.

Matz will pitch for the Las Vegas 51s for the second straight night. He allowed five runs in four innings in his second overall rehab start on Tuesday for the 51s.

Lugo will start for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies on Sunday. It will be his third rehab appearance and first with Binghamton after pitching for the St. Lucie Mets in the first two.

Steven Matz started for Triple-A Las Vegas Tuesday night against Round Rock and turned in a four inning performance.

Matz was tagged for five runs on five hits, while walking two and striking out four.

The lefty also surrendered two home runs in the ballgame.

In addition, Seth Lugo started for the St. Lucie Mets and didn’t fare too well, turning in a three inning performance, allowing seven runs on seven hits while striking out four and walking one,
