According to Abbey Mastracco of NJAM, the Mets have designated Adam Wilk for assignment to make room for Tommy Milone.
Wilk pitched against the Marlins Sunday and was knocked around for six runs (five earned) on eight hits, three of which were home runs, in 3.2 innings.
There is a high probability Milone will start on Wednesday instead of Rafael Montero, with Matt Harvey coming back on Friday.

The Mets have made a move to improve their starting rotation in the form of left-hander Tommy Milone who they claimed off waivers from the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday, according to Marc Carig of Newsday on Twitter.
Milone, 30, went 1-0 in six games (three started) for the Brewers this season with a 6.43 ERA.
The seven year veteran has bounced around the majors with stops in Washington, Oakland and Minnesota before joining the Brew Crew this year.
For his career, Milone has logged over 700 innings and has accumulated a 45-33 record with a 4.21 ERA and a 6.5 K/9.
Milone can easily slide into the Mets rotation, providing a better alternative to Rafael Montero or Adam Wilk, both of whom had rough spot starts recently.
