The Mets (21-13) were stymied by Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers (18-17) tonight at Dodgers Stadium by a score of 5-0.
Pitching:
After a career game for Bartolo Colon in his last start in San Diego, tonight was a different story. Colon was smacked around early, and was tagged for five runs on seven hits, with two home runs against.
The recently recalled Sean Gilmartin then tossed three scoreless innings out of the bullpen for the Mets, allowing just one hit and striking out three.

Offense:
There is not really much to say about the Mets offense tonight other than they got Kershaw’d.
The best pitcher in baseball over the half decade completely baffled the Mets tonight, as the Amazin’s managed just three hits off the southpaw, who struck out 13 Mets.
The three Mets hits tonight belonged to Curtis Granderson and Asdrubal Cabrera, who had two.
On deck:
The Mets travel to Colorado to take on the Rockies for a weekend series starting tomorrow. Matt Harvey (3-4, 4.50 ERA) takes on Jon Gray (0-1, 5.40 ERA). First pitch is scheduled for 8:40 PM.
