The New York Mets (22-16) open a four-game series with the St. Louis Cardinals (25-12) on Monday night at Citi Field.
Matt Harvey (5-1, 2.31 ERA) will make his eighth start of the season and he’ll oppose John Lackey (2-2, 3.22 ERA) for the Cards. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 PM.

The Mets bats came back for a second straight game yesterday as they were able to beat the Brewers and take the series by a score of 5-1. The game started off with a leadoff homer from Curtis Granderson and the team tacked on more runs as the day went on. Noah Syndergaard picked up his first win and really only struggled for one inning, the 6th again.
