Under Armour announced Tuesday that the 2012 Under Armour All-America Game, powered by Baseball Factory, will be held at Chicago’s Wrigley Field for the fifth-consecutive year and will take place on Saturday, Aug. 18.

According to the press release by Baseball Factory,

“For five consecutive years, Under Armour has proudly supported the world’s most elite high school baseball players at the Under Armour All-America Game,” said Matt Mirchin, Senior Vice President, Global Brand and Sports Marketing, Under Armour. “The brand is committed to making all athletes better and providing the next generation of exceptional baseball athletes with the platform and resources to evolve their talents, learn from some of baseball’s greatest pros, play at a historic venue like Wrigley Field and maximize their talent.”

Incidentally, the 2012 Under Armour All-America Game will air live nationally on MLB Network.

The game has gained national notoriety and has featured many of each year’s draft class. Last year, outfielder Bubba Starling was selected by the Kansas City Royals with the 5th overall pick, while outfielder Brandon Nimmo was selected 13th overall by the New York Mets.
