Major League Baseball announced on Wednesday afternoon that 160 players officially became free agents including 11 from the Mets organization. The 11 players from the Mets ties them with the Dodgers and A’s for the most free agents.

- RHP Marcus Stroman
- RHP Heath Hembree
- LHP Rich Hill
- INF Jonathan Villar
- RHP Dellin Betances
- LHP Brad Hand
- LHP Aaron Loup
- RHP Jeurys Familia
The Mets have until Nov. 7 at 5:00 p.m. ET to decide if they want to give out the qualifying offer to eligible players — Báez and Stroman are not eligible. The Mets are expected to give Conforto the QO and Syndergaard is a possibility as well. The QO for the 2022 season is $18.4 million. Players given the QO then have until Nov. 17 to accept or reject.
Free agency officially begins on Nov. 8.
