Mets Make Some Roster Moves To Replace Putz

After placing J.J. Putz on the disabled list today, the Mets called up right-handed reliever Fernando Nieve from Triple-A Buffalo and claimed lefty reliever Pat Misch off waivers from the San Francisco Giants. Nieve will take Putz’s spot on the roster and in the bullpen, while Misch was immediately assigned to Buffalo.
