The Dodgers regained the lead in the series yesterday with a commanding 6-2 win. Walker Buehler had his ace stuff going, and struck out ten in six innings. Justin Turner and Austin Barnes both homered for the Dodgers, and while Randy Arozarena hit yet another home run in the ninth inning, it was too little, too late for the Rays.

Game Notes

This is the ninth time since 1900 that the Dodgers have led a best-of-seven postseason series 2-1, but they have gone on to win the series just twice in that span.

Justin Turner holds the Dodgers record for postseason hits, doubles, and RBI, and with his home run last night, he tied Duke Snider for the franchise postseason home run record.

The Dodgers have 48 two-out RBI this postseason, which surpasses the previous record of 45 held by the 2004 Boston Red Sox for the most in a single postseason since 1999.
