Charlie Morton starts game one for Atlanta. In three postseason games, he’s 0-1 with a 3.77 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 19 strikeouts. He earned a no-decision after throwing five innings, allowing two runs, on Oct. 19 against the Dodgers.

Opposing Morton will be Framber Valdez. The 27-year old is 1-0 in three postseason starts with a 4.20 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, and 13 strikeouts. He was brilliant in his last game against Boston, tossing eight innings, allowing one run on three hits, and striking out five batters.

Each team made minor roster changes for the World Series. Atlanta has replaced Jacob Webb and Johan Camargo with Kyle Wright and Terrance Gore. Houston is replacing the injured Jake Meyers with Marwin Gonzalez, their 13-man pitching staff remains the same.
