Rumors have been a buzz this season that the Mets could look to trade beloved infielder Wilmer Flores.

However, Andy Martino of SNY is now reporting that Flores is likely to stay. A week ago, it was 50/50 that he could be jettisoned but the tides have changed.

The soon to be 27-year-old has been worth 0.2 bWAR for New York this season, while hitting .262/.318/.440 with nine home runs and 34 RBI.

The Venezuela native is arbitration eligible in 2019 and can become a free agent in 2020.
