The Mets announced that right-hander Tylor Megill will make a rehab start on Sunday with Double-A Binghamton.

On May 11 against the Nationals in Washington D.C., Megill was removed after only 1 1/3 innings pitched. This, at the time, seemed performance-related rather than due to injury. After the game, an MRI showed right biceps tendinitis, but no structural damage.

Megill was the Mets surprise Opening Day starter and then started the Mets second no-hitter in franchise history on April 29.

The 26-year-old is 4-2 with a 4.41 ERA in seven starts this season. Megill has a strong 37 strikeout to 9 walk ratio in 34 2/3 innings.
