The Minnesota Twins have claimed left-handed pitcher Adam Wilk off waivers from the New York Mets.

Wilk, 29, was added to the Mets 40-man roster to make a spot start for the suspended Matt Harvey on Sunday against the Miami Marlins.

In the start, Wilk allowed six runs, five earned in 3.2 innings in what would turn out to be his only appearance with the Mets.

Wilk was designated for assignment by the Mets on Tuesday when they claimed left-handed starter Tommy Milone off waivers from the Milwaukee Brewers.
