As expected, due to inclement weather in Colorado, the Rockies announced a number of schedule changes to the remainder of the series against the Mets, including Tuesday night’s game being postponed.

Tuesday night’s matchup will be made up on Thursday, May 7, with first pitch scheduled for 3:10 EDT. Both teams had a scheduled off day.
Wednesday’s game has been moved from a 3:10 p.m. EDT start to a first pitch of 9:20 PM EDT start.
Several inches of rain and snow (!!) are expected across the Denver metro area the next 24 to 36 hours, so it remains to be seen if Wednesday’s game will be able to be played, even with a later start. Temperatures Wednesday night are expected in the low 30s with feels like temps in the high 20s.
Year-to-date, the Denver area had received around two inches of precipitation. With the Mets in town, anywhere from four to 12 inches of snow are expected through Wednesday.
Freddy Peralta was slated to pitch Tuesday for the Mets against right-handed pitcher Michael Lorenzen for the Rockies, with Christian Scott (0-0, 4.26 ERA, 9 SO) slated to take on former Mets teammate, Jose Quintana (1-2, 4.07 ERA, 12 SO) on Wednesday. The Mets have yet to announce the changes to their rotational schedule, but it is likely all of those pitching scenarios will be bumped one day in conjunction.
