Jared Diamond of The Wall Street Journal reports that the MLBPA has extended executive director, Tony Clark, through the 2022 season.

Clark was responsible for negotiating the most recent CBA that is set to expire on December 1, 2021, which sets him up to negotiate at least one more CBA to his liking with the league.

The 46-year-old started serving in that role in 2013 after retiring from the game after the 2009 season.
