It would have been nice to end the season with one more win today, but I think we all saw the writing on the wall the second we saw Oliver Perez emerge from the bullpen gate.
Still, I am very proud of the many accomplishments that so many of our players made this season, especially all the young ones. We’ve made some great strides in our minor league system and I expect we’ll see even more prospects emerge next season.
I am also very excited about the hopes and possibilities that a new general manager will bring whoever it may be.
To that end, I say “Here’s To New Beginnings!”
