A few months back, I had the pleasure of walking into a meeting that made me feel at home. It was filled with Mets memorabilia and even a bright orange couch for visitors. What a feeling! To first meet somebody for business and know you could probably spend days talking Mets baseball with them.

With news that not only do the Mets expect to not spend this off-season which I know upsets many of you, and now the news that David Einhorn will NOT be purchasing part of the team, I think today is a good day to send a message!

There has been a divide with Mets fans lately. Most of it stems from the front office decisions, and I think what we all need to come together and say is that we’ve had enough of the Wilpon’s. We deserve better. Sandy Alderson doesn’t write the checks or set the budget, neither did Omar Minaya.
They didn’t design Citi Field, they aren’t the ones deciding how much money can be used to sign Reyes and they haven’t been the ones who cannot even secure a minority sale in the franchise to keep their heads above water.
It is clear more than ever, that it is time to sell the team!
